The Drive works FLAWLESSLY in Windows 7 32 bit, which has all of the same drivers / software that the 64 bit system is running. However, if Dual Layer Blu Ray drives won't work under 64 bit Windows 7, then there is no point in upgrading. Ray disks to back up my system than 10 or 15 DVD's. I know Bu-Ray disks are more expensive, but I would rather use 2 or 3 Blu Especially since I am wanting to upgrade to a Blu-Ray Dual Layer Burner so that I can use fewer disks to make system backups. I'm hoping someone here has found a solution to this. Again, the drive WILL burn Dual Layer discs in 32 bit Windows 7, but will ONLY burn Single Layer DVD's in Windows 7 64 bit. That there are no Upper or Lower Filters showing, uninstalling and reinstalling the drive, editing the registry. I have been all over the internet during the last 2 days looking for solutions and I have tried everything I have heard of. Good because if I put in in a system using Windows 7 32 bit, it burns Dual LAyer disks perfectly.
Sadly, although all software can see that it is a dual layer capable drive, the moment that I try to use it, it fails. I have a LIte On Dual Layer DVD Burner that has the latest firmware.
